# list_projects

> List every project you can access and the workspaces you belong to.

Lists the projects you can open, with your permission on each, and the workspaces you belong to. Assistants call this first to find project ids.

## Parameters

This tool takes no parameters.

## Result

      Table names, in creation order.

      `true` when you are the owner or an admin.

## Notes

* A project appears when you created it, you are an owner or admin of its workspace, or it was shared with you. You must also be a member of its workspace. See [Permissions](/reference/permissions).
* Projects from every workspace you belong to are included.
